Overview
Take a minute to enjoy the views before stepping into the covered porch, the perfect place to leave your well-worn walking boots behind, before stepping into the lounge/diner, an inviting area for all that come and stay, with a warming wood burner, smart TV and traditional furnishings that further enhance its style. For a simple supper after a day’s exploring, step into the cottage kitchen which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, nespresso machine, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. When it’s time for bed, climb the cottage style stairs where you will find a double bedroom with king size bed enjoying views across the countryside and one single bedroom. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC on this floor. Fluffy white towels and luxurious locally made “Farmers” bathroom toiletries are supplied and the beds are made up with crisp cotton sheets and Welsh blankets to “cwtch” up beneath. First basket of logs are supplied free
Step outside, and enjoy the open aspect of the gardens with garden furniture and BBQ, perfect to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is off-road parking for two cars. The night sky is quite stunning and can be viewed from the garden or even the velux roof light in your bedroom
Things to know
The garden is fenced and dog proof however there may be cows or sheep grazing in the field adjacent to the garden, you must keep your dog under control – a determined dog will jump a fence!
We are situated in a wonderful farming landscape but with that comes sheep baaing, cows mooing and tractors on the lanes – not all at the same time of course! There is plenty of bird and insect life, and the occasional funny smell – welcome to a true rural landscape.
Wi-Fi is patchy with a very low download speed (2.1mbps). If Wi-Fi is very important to you, you may want to consider checking coverage in this area with your provider prior to booking

We loved our stay here, such a warm cozy cottage made us feel at home. Infact we didn’t want to leave. Perfect location for us, a small drive to the nearest supermarket and walks from the doorstep. Our favourite was the Llandefalle Common, which like it said in the book has endless countryside. Our dogs loved it and the views were amazing. Also a great spot if your into star gazing. Will definitely going back.
